Kazakhstan and Russia plan to expand cooperation in poultry farming within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The parties considered issues of developing mutually beneficial cooperation, including increasing production of poultry meat and eggs, technology exchange, and implementation of joint projects. During the meeting, representatives of the ministries of agriculture of Kazakhstan and Russia identified key areas of interaction in poultry farming.

Cooperation within the EAEU is aimed at strengthening food security and developing trade and economic ties among member states. Joint work in poultry farming will increase production volumes and improve product quality.

The Kazakh side expressed interest in studying Russian experience in poultry farming and introducing advanced technologies. Russia, in turn, confirmed its readiness to exchange experience and create joint ventures with Kazakhstan.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish a working group to further deepen cooperation. The working group will develop specific projects and mechanisms for their implementation.

Expanding cooperation in poultry farming is an important part of the EAEU's strategy in the field of food security. Member states are joining efforts to increase mutual trade and reduce dependence on imports.

The development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia in poultry farming will strengthen economic ties between the two countries and provide the population with quality food products.
