Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, who arrived on an official visit to Kazakhstan, discussed the implementation of agreements reached at a high level. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The meeting covered issues of trade-economic, investment, transport-logistics, energy cooperation, as well as interaction in the field of digitalization.
"Kazakhstan considers Georgia as a reliable friend and important strategic partner in the South Caucasus and the Black Sea region. The Government of Kazakhstan is ready to further deepen dialogue and practical cooperation with the Government of Georgia," said Olzhas Bektenov.
Irakli Kobakhidze noted that Kazakhstan is a key partner for Georgia and emphasized the great potential for further expansion of bilateral cooperation.
According to the results of 2025, the volume of mutual trade between Kazakhstan and Georgia reached $184.5 million, and in January-April of this year - $53 million. Currently, more than 600 companies with Georgian participation operate in the Kazakh market, and 14 organizations are registered at the Astana International Financial Centre.
