Kazakhstan plans to strengthen cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in the field of aircraft accident investigation. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan, together with ICAO, intends to expand the exchange of knowledge and experience in investigating aviation incidents. This initiative is aimed at improving aviation safety in the country.

The parties discussed issues of harmonizing investigation methods, training specialists, and introducing modern technologies. Under the agreement, ICAO experts will provide advisory assistance to Kazakh specialists.

The Kazakh delegation held a meeting with ICAO Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar. During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation in the field of aircraft accident investigation were considered.

This cooperation will allow Kazakhstan to increase compliance with international aviation standards and ensure a high level of aviation safety.
