Kazakhstan's rhythmic gymnastics team took third place in the group all-around final at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Team composition and result
The team, consisting of Zhasmin Zhunusbayeva, Aida Khakimzhanova, Madina Myrzabay, Aizere Nurmagambetova and Kristina Chepulskaya, scored 51.550 points across two routines.
For the composition with five balls, the team received 25.450 points. For the program with three hoops and two pairs of clubs, they scored 26.100.
Medalists
China won gold with a result of 55.300 points. Japan took second place with 52.500.
Qualification
In qualification, Kazakhstan's team showed the best result – 53.300 points, ahead of China by 0.300.
Individual all-around final
The individual all-around final also concluded earlier today. Akmaral Yerekesheva took fourth place, while Aibota Yertaikyzy finished fifth. Yerekesheva fell 1.200 points short of bronze.
