At the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships in China, the winners and medalists in floor exercise were determined. Kazakhstani Dmitry Patanin finished eighth. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to the final performance results, Patanin scored 13.700 points. The winner of the continental championship was two-time 2024 Olympic champion Carlos Edriel Yulo of the Philippines (14.700). Bronze went to his younger brother Karl Eldrew Yulo (14.300). Silver was won by Japanese Shoma Tsukiyama (14.600).

In the horizontal bar final, Kazakhstan will be represented by Dias Toishybek.

Earlier, our team finished fourth in the team all-around.

The Men's Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships are taking place in Zunyi, China, from June 18 to 21. A total of eight sets of medals will be awarded.

It should be noted that the continental championship is being skipped by the national team leaders: 2024 Olympic vice-champion Nariman Kurbanov and 2023 World Championship bronze medalist Milad Karimi.

At the 2025 Asian Championships in Korea, our team won three medals. Gold on pommel horse was won by Kurbanov, silver in floor exercise by Karimi, and bronze in the team all-around.
