High or extreme fire danger is expected in almost all regions of Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

High fire danger is forecast in Zhambyl, Akmola, and Ulytau regions. Additionally, high fire danger is expected:

Extreme fire danger is forecast in Kyzylorda and Turkistan regions. Extreme fire danger is also expected in the north, south, and east of Zhetysu region; north and southeast of Abai region; west and north of Zhambyl region; Karaganda region; north of Almaty region; southeast of Pavlodar region; and northwest, southeast, and center of East Kazakhstan region.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that from July 5 to 11, 43 forest fires were recorded on the territory of the state forest fund in Kazakhstan. According to the Ministry of Ecology, all fires were promptly localized and completely extinguished.

At the same time, Kazhydromet reported that after prolonged heat, cooling is expected in some regions of Kazakhstan. A northwestern cyclone and cold air masses will bring rain, thunderstorms, squally wind, hail, and a drop in temperature. In the north, heavy rain is forecast on July 15-16, with daytime temperatures reaching +25…+30°C, while in the south, heat up to +40…+45°C will persist, and in the east, up to +33…+38°C.
