Kazakhstan's women's basketball team suffered a hopeless defeat to the hosts of the 2026 Asian Games – 23:88 (9:23, 6:25, 5:23, 3:17). This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
After a heavy loss to the Philippines in the first round (55:88), an even heavier one followed. In none of the quarters did Boris Fatkulin's charges manage to score more than ten points. The superiority of the Japanese team was overwhelming. The final "minus 65" is hard to comment on.
