The IV meeting of the council of the Alliance for the Protection of Asian Cultural Heritage was held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou.

The event was attended by heads of cultural agencies from more than 20 countries, as well as representatives of the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) and the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH).

Kazakhstan's Vice Minister of Culture and Information Aibek Sydykov spoke about the country's joint work with UNESCO and proposed developing cooperation with the alliance in three areas.

These are training specialists and exchanging experience, remote monitoring of monuments using digital technologies and artificial intelligence, and conducting joint archaeological and scientific research at sites along the Great Silk Road.
