ASTANA, August 9 — Sputnik. From August 10 to 20, applications for special testing will be accepted from citizens seeking to obtain Kazakh citizenship. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Testing for citizenship is held twice a year: in August and February. Applications can be submitted on the center's website or via the UTO app from August 10 to 20.
The test consists of 3 blocks: - Kazakh language test — 30 tasks, passing score — 15; - Fundamentals of the Constitution (in Kazakh or Russian) — 40 questions, passing score — 20; - History of Kazakhstan (in Kazakh or Russian) — 30 tasks, passing score — 15.
Testing takes 2 hours 10 minutes, with an additional 30 minutes possible for people with disabilities.
The cost is 14,693 tenge. A trial test can be taken on the National Testing Center website for 3,355 tenge.
