Kazakhstan will exceed its aviation fuel production plan, the Ministry of Energy reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the ministry, 750,000 tonnes of aviation fuel were planned for production this year. Meanwhile, 591,000 tonnes were produced in the first 8 months.
At the end of the year, 825,000 tonnes of product are planned to be produced. This is 13% more compared to last year.
Last year, 726,000 tonnes of aviation fuel were produced.
In the future, production volumes are planned to be increased gradually, and by 2031 it is intended to reach 1.5 million tonnes.
The needs of Kazakhstan's civil aviation, law enforcement agencies, civil protection bodies and the state material reserve are fully met from domestic aviation fuel.
The domestic annual demand of passenger aviation is 680,000 tonnes.
