The first meeting of the Kazakhstan-Russia joint working group on personnel training for the nuclear industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the state corporation Rosatom, specialized organizations and educational institutions of the two countries.
During the meeting, the Kazakh side presented its approaches to personnel training for the nuclear industry. In particular, issues of personnel planning, development of educational programs, strengthening of the educational and laboratory base, as well as expanding cooperation between higher educational institutions and industry organizations of the two countries were considered.
The Russian side presented the experience of personnel training in partner countries, mechanisms for providing nuclear power plants with qualified specialists, support for young specialists, development of personnel cooperation and formation of the necessary infrastructure.
Following the meeting, the parties reviewed mutual proposals, agreed and approved upcoming joint activities to develop personnel potential.
