The Armed Forces of Kazakhstan have launched training sessions on electronic protection and countering unmanned aerial systems (UAS). This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Military personnel are practicing methods to counter modern technological threats. Participants are learning ways to protect their own communication channels from interference and to quickly detect sources of foreign radio signals.

Special attention is paid to practical exercises in detecting, intercepting and jamming drones in conditions as close to real as possible. Officers also learn to assess the overall security of military facilities and use the latest electronic warfare (EW) systems.

As organizers noted, the development of drone technology has shifted modern conflicts to the radio spectrum, requiring EW specialists to constantly update their skills. The main goal of the exercises is to develop unified approaches for different branches of the armed forces.

Representatives of various units of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan use the training grounds to exchange experience, assess new risks and practice coordinated interaction when protecting strategic facilities.
