In the Karkaraly district of Karaganda region, rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) found two women and a child who got lost during a walk in the mountains on the territory of the Karkaraly State National Natural Park. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the MES, the tourists were heading towards the Big Basin, but went off the route and could not return on their own.
"Thanks to the obtained coordinates and maintaining communication with the tourists, rescuers quickly found them five kilometers west of the recreation area 'Sosnovy Bor'," the ministry reported.
After being found, the tourists were taken to the recreation area. They did not require medical assistance.
