The decline in production at the Karachaganak oil and gas field will not affect the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (auto gas) to the West Kazakhstan region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the regional akimat, despite the temporary decrease in production volumes at Karachaganak, the supply of auto gas in the region remains stable. There are sufficient reserves in the region, and the delivery schedule has not been disrupted.

The Karachaganak field is one of the largest oil and gas condensate fields in Kazakhstan. The decline in production may be due to planned maintenance work, experts suggest. However, this situation does not hinder gas supplies to consumers.

Residents and enterprises of the West Kazakhstan region receive auto gas without interruption. The akimat is taking necessary measures to ensure market stability.
