Knaub was at the origins of the development of the oncogynecological service of the Karaganda region and helped thousands of female patients. The specialist's passing has become a loss for the region's medical community.
The doctor participated in the creation of the oncogynecology department of the Regional Oncology Dispensary and headed it for more than 20 years. For many years he remained one of the leading operating surgeons of the institution.
During his career, he performed many operations, helped women with severe diseases and shared his experience with young specialists. Colleagues and patients remember him as a person devoted to his work, to whom they entrusted their lives.
Former patients shared their memories and words of gratitude with journalists.
"In 2010, Adolf Alexandrovich saved me. Deep respect and recognition for his hands, professionalism and knowledge. Eternal memory," one of the former patients said.
