An 18-year-old girl who went missing in Karaganda was found safe and sound within a short time. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Polisia.kz.
The girl went to a meeting and did not return home at the appointed time. The situation was complicated by the fact that her mobile phone was left at home.
Her mother, unable to contact her daughter, first searched on her own, but after no results, she asked the police for help.
"Immediately after receiving the report, police officers who promptly arrived at the scene began search operations together with a service search dog. The dog handler gave the dog the task of tracking the scent, and it accurately determined the direction the girl had taken," the message said.
Soon the girl's whereabouts were established. She was found safe and sound and handed over to her mother.
