Drones are inspecting the condition of energy facilities in Karaganda. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The Ministry of Energy announced this. According to the ministry, the use of drones makes it possible to visually inspect overhead power transmission lines, buildings and structures, chimneys and other hard-to-reach sections.
"Aerial photography and video recording make it possible to assess the technical condition of equipment in detail, promptly identify faults and potential risks, and also record inspection results for subsequent analysis," the statement says.
According to the ministry, the use of modern technologies increases the efficiency and effectiveness of state energy supervision and helps ensure the reliable operation of the region's energy infrastructure.
