A 23-year-old worker was buried by soil in Karaganda. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the incident occurred near Molokov Street in the Kazybek bi district of Karaganda. Earthworks were carried out for the purpose of laying a sewer system.
A worker born in 2003 was buried by soil. Rescuers from the Emergency Response Team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with workers, pulled the victim from a pit filled with water and soil.
After the rescue operation, the man was handed over to an ambulance crew. No additional information about his condition was provided.
