Five tourists who went for a walk in the mountains near the "Shakhter" recreation area got lost in the Karkaraly district of the Karaganda region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Three of the lost are children. The tourists were in the "Kendara" gorge on the territory of the Karkaraly State National Natural Park, located 15 kilometers north of the "Shakhter" recreation area.
Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly arrived at the scene and found the vacationers in a short time. They were safely delivered to the "Shakhter" recreation area. They did not need medical assistance, the ministry said.
Rescuers advise that when going to the forest, you must take a fully charged phone, a supply of drinking water and food. Also, you should inform your relatives about your route in advance and avoid going to the forest in the dark.
