A body of one person was found in a burnt house in the Karaganda region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The fire broke out on August 11 in a two-story eight-apartment residential building in the village of Moyynty. As a result, the wooden roof sheathing, windows and doors, as well as household items and furniture in six apartments, were burned.
Rescuers removed a 27-liter gas cylinder from one of the apartments. During the fire, part of the ceiling collapsed in one of the apartments over an area of 80 square meters.
After extinguishing the fire, rescuers found human remains under the rubble. Forensic and genetic examinations have been ordered to identify the person.
It was reported that 17 people lived in the house. The cause of the fire is currently being established.
