In the Karkaraly district of the Karaganda region, rescuers found five tourists, including three children, who got lost in the mountains. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The tourists were in the Kendar tract on the territory of the Karkaraly State National Natural Park. It is located approximately 15 km north of the Shakhter recreation area.
Rescuers arrived at the scene and quickly found the group thanks to the transmitted coordinates and maintained communication. All tourists were safely delivered to the Shakhter recreation area.
Rescuers' Reminder
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded that before going to the forest, it is necessary to take a charged phone, a supply of water and food, inform relatives of the route in advance, and not go to the forest in the dark.
Similar Incident in Almaty
Earlier, Kursiv reported that in Almaty, rescuers found two teenagers who went to the mountains on their own and did not return. They were found near Tourist Peak in the Karasai district. The condition of the teenagers was assessed as satisfactory, and they did not require medical assistance.
