A truck carrying 193 pigs overturned in the Karaganda region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Karaganda regional police department, at around 09:00 on 19 September, a Scania truck was involved in a road accident at the 188th kilometre of the Astana highway near the interchange of the city of Temirtau.
"According to preliminary data, a 39-year-old driver, travelling in a Scania vehicle, overturned the vehicle," police said.
The truck was transporting 193 head of pigs along the Kokshetau – Tashkent route.
As a result of the traffic accident, the animals ran off into the steppe.
There were no injuries.
