In Konayev, on the Kapshagai reservoir, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations saved a 21-year-old girl who had begun to drown. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, during a patrol of the water area in the city of Konayev, rescuers noticed a girl born in 2005 who was drowning approximately 20 meters from the shore outside the buoy zone.
Ministry employees quickly pulled the victim from the water, provided first aid, and handed her over to medics. Accompanied by rescuers, the girl was taken to the city hospital.
Thanks to the prompt and professional actions of the rescuers, the girl's life was saved. She is currently under medical observation.
The Ministry reminds citizens to follow water safety rules and not to swim beyond the buoys.
