In the 10th round of the Kazakhstan First League, the leaders secured another victories. Kairat-Zhastar snatched a 3:2 win over their capital city peers at Astana Arena. Shakhter in Karaganda defeated Ural's Zhaiyk 3:0. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

In the principled rivalry of the two capitals, the seesaw swung throughout the match. Astana-M opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Timur Tokenov, and soon Ramazan Bagdat made it 2:0. Before the break, Yermukhammed Kerimkhan pulled one back for the visitors, but in the second half Rakhimzhan Amangeldinov restored parity.

However, the Kairat youth secured the victory. In the 76th minute, in a scramble in front of Miras Amangeldy's goal, Yevgeny Petrik was the quickest – 3:2.

Shakhter, having thrashed Zhaiyk 3:0 in Karaganda, continues the chase for the young Kairat players. Turan, after a big win over Aktobe-M at Turkistan Arena, cemented third place in the standings. Khan-Tengri, after a 2:1 comeback home win, overtook Taraz.

The most intense match of the round was in Kostanay. Ekibastuz's Alibi Mukhit twice equalized against Tobol-M, then completed a hat-trick to put Batyr ahead. However, in the end, the Kostanay side salvaged a draw – 3:3.

The 11th round matches of the First League will take place on June 25 and 26.
