Rafael Urazbakhtin, head coach of the Kairat football club, has resigned voluntarily. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Under Urazbakhtin's leadership, the Almaty team became Kazakhstan champions twice. The club also qualified for the UEFA Champions League league phase for the first time in its history.
He was appointed head coach of the team in September 2024. Now Zhora Harutyunyan will perform the duties of head coach.
He is preparing the team for the upcoming match against Altai.
