Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the international media group Rossiya Segodnya on its 10th anniversary. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In his congratulatory telegram, Putin noted that over the past decade, the media group has become one of the leading players in the global information space. The president praised the professional level of the team and its role in disseminating objective and timely information.
"Thanks to your work, Rossiya Segodnya has become a reliable source of information about events around the world," the message said.
Putin also expressed confidence that the media group will continue to contribute to the development of international journalism. He wished the team creative success, new achievements, and well-being.
The Rossiya Segodnya international media group was founded in 2013. It includes RIA Novosti, Sputnik, and other information resources. The group operates in more than 30 countries, distributing information in dozens of languages.
Director General of the media group Dmitry Kiselyov thanked Putin for the congratulations and noted that the team strives to maintain high standards and provide quality content to the audience.
"We are proud of the President's high assessment and will do our best to justify his trust," Kiselyov said.
