Russian President Vladimir Putin voted online in the State Duma elections. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

He chose the electronic voting method for the sixth time and made his choice in his working office in the Kremlin.

The elections of deputies of the ninth State Duma and other concurrent elections began on September 18.

Voting will last three days and end on September 20.

On the single voting day of 2026, a total of 20.7 thousand deputy mandates and elected positions are planned to be replaced.

Putin had previously called the State Duma elections the most important event in the country's domestic policy.
