Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko on his birthday. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In the congratulatory message published on the Kremlin's website, Putin said: "I sincerely congratulate you on your birthday. For many years, as head of state, you have worked tirelessly, making a huge contribution to the successful socio-economic development of fraternal Belarus and the protection of its interests on the international arena."
Putin stated that Russia and Belarus will continue their joint work to promote mutually beneficial integration processes in the Eurasian space.
