Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered no strikes on Kyiv for three days. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, this decision is related to the preparation and holding of American meetings in Kyiv. He also noted that the Russian leader will hold talks with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who arrived in Moscow, after which the US president's representatives will go to Kyiv.

Earlier, Donald Trump stated that Witkoff and Kushner would present a proposal to stop the conflict in Ukraine during their visit to Moscow. However, he did not disclose the specific details of this initiative.

Previously, Vladimir Putin emphasized that Moscow is open to negotiations with any party. He also noted Russia's readiness to return to negotiations and discuss all issues and topics raised in August 2025 in Alaska.
