Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered Health Minister Mikhail Murashko to take urgent measures to provide assistance to those affected by a terrorist attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Bryansk region. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Acting Governor of the Bryansk region Yegor Kovalchuk reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used an aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle to attack a bus carrying a children's football team from Gomel. As a result of the attack, a woman accompanying the team was killed; she was the wife of one of the coaches.

"Vladimir Putin called Health Minister Murashko and ordered all necessary urgent measures to provide assistance to those affected and injured in the terrorist attack," said presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

At the time of the attack, there were 44 passengers in the bus, including 28 young athletes. The attack resulted in the death of one woman and injuries to six people, including four teenagers.
