On August 31 – September 1, Bishkek will host a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The summit, timed to coincide with the organization's 25th anniversary, will be the main event under Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship of the SCO in 2025–2026.
On the eve of the summit, leaders of Russia, Kazakhstan, China, India, Iran and other SCO member states will hold bilateral meetings.
