A 69-year-old man was detained on a passenger train on the Mangystau-Almaty route on suspicion of harassing a girl. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the girl, an unknown man grabbed her knee on the train. After the incident, transport police officers at Kyzylorda station identified the offender.
"A 69-year-old resident of Kyzylorda was detained and taken to the police department. He was brought to administrative responsibility for petty hooliganism and disturbing the peace at night," the Transport Police Department reported.
For disturbing the peace, the man was fined. Materials on the fact of petty hooliganism were sent to court for consideration.
