In Petropavlovsk, a passenger's complaint about a taxi driver's rudeness led to the discovery of a repeated violation of migration legislation. The court sentenced a 42-year-old citizen of Tajikistan to administrative arrest with subsequent expulsion from Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

What the inspection revealed
During the inspection of the complaint, police established that the man was engaged in passenger transportation, although upon entering Kazakhstan he did not indicate employment or entrepreneurial activity as the purpose of arrival.
The driver had previously been held administratively liable for a similar violation. Police forwarded the materials on the repeated violation within a year to the administrative court.

The court sentenced the 42-year-old citizen of Tajikistan to administrative arrest with subsequent expulsion from Kazakhstan. After expulsion, the man will be banned from entering Kazakhstan for five years.

Since the beginning of the year, 679 foreign citizens have been held administratively liable in the North Kazakhstan region, of which 633 were for violations of migration legislation. 45 foreigners were expelled from the country, and another 152 had their stay in Kazakhstan shortened.
