In Petropavlovsk, a court found a man guilty of petty hooliganism after he offensively harassed a woman he did not know on a bus. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The case was heard in the city's specialized court for administrative offenses.
The incident occurred on October 7 at around 18:30 on bus No. 4A. According to the court, the man violated public order and the peace of passengers.
"The man fully admitted his guilt and confirmed the circumstances of the offense," the court's statement said.
His actions were classified under Part 1 of Article 434 of Kazakhstan's Code of Administrative Offenses, and he was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest. The ruling has not yet entered into legal force.
Earlier, "Kursiv" wrote about how in Almaty an elderly man unknown to her attacked a female bus passenger and began to strangle her. The court sentenced him to 10 days of administrative arrest. And the day before, a rowdy who brandished a knife on a bus was arrested in the metropolis.
