According to the Russian Embassy in Kazakhstan, early voting for the State Duma elections in Petropavl and Kostanay took place in a good and friendly atmosphere. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The embassy noted that people came with their families in full force and showed genuine interest in the events. Russian diplomats expressed special gratitude to the administrations and police departments of Petropavl and Kostanay.
"The organization of the electoral process was at a high level, and voting was calm, smooth and safe," the statement said.
On the upcoming weekend, the embassy commission plans to conduct early mobile voting in Pavlodar and Karaganda.
