The patient was urgently hospitalized in the trauma department. The main task of the surgical team was to preserve the undamaged parts of the fingers and restore the function of the hand as much as possible.

According to the hospital, during the operation traumatologists fixed the damaged bones with metal structures, treated the wounds and repaired the torn tendons.
