Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists that the Kremlin is unaware of a trip by US President's representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow in October. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Responding to a question about whether the American negotiators might travel to the Russian capital in October, Peskov said: "This trip may well take place, but we do not know that it will happen on these days."
He also said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is always glad to meet with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
In addition, Peskov provided information about a telephone conversation between the US and Russian presidents. Asked about the timing, he gave a short answer: "Soon."
Earlier, Axios reported that Witkoff and Kushner might travel to Moscow in October.
