Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on statements by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev about Vladimir Putin. He stated that such assessments can only be made by people with political vision of the future, firmness and consistency. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

The Kremlin representative spoke in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin. Peskov called Tokayev a politically strong leader possessing significant resources.

"President Tokayev is a politically very powerful man, very powerful, possessing enormous resources. And only people who truly possess such political vision of the future, firmness and consistency can afford such statements. Others cannot," Peskov noted.

This refers to Tokayev's statement made on September 29 after talks with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. At that time, the Kazakh president called Putin the most acceptable leader of Russia for the whole world.

Thus, Peskov assessed Tokayev's words as a balanced foreign policy step, characterizing him as an example of political foresight and consistency. According to him, such an assessment requires significant political resources and a deep understanding of the future.

It is worth noting that Tokayev's statement of September 29 was widely discussed in the international media space. During the talks with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the Kazakh president expressed his position regarding the Russian leadership. Subsequently, an official clarification was given by the Russian side regarding these words.

Peskov's interview was published according to information disseminated by the Russian news agency TASS. It contains the Kremlin representative's assessment of Tokayev's personality and his political weight.

Thus, the Russian side positively assessed the Kazakh president's statement, perceiving it as a politically mature decision. Peskov's words reflect recognition of Tokayev's authority and influence on the international stage.

Earlier, Tokayev's statement about Putin became known on September 29 after his meeting with the German Chancellor. In that statement, the Kazakh president called Putin the most acceptable leader of Russia for the world. These words received various assessments and were widely discussed by experts.

According to Peskov, to make such a statement, a person must possess genuine political foresight, firmness and consistency. He characterized Tokayev as a person possessing such qualities and noted his enormous political resource.

It should be noted that Peskov expressed this opinion in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin. During the conversation, he specifically focused on Tokayev's political weight and influence, calling him a "politically very powerful man."

Thus, these statements within the framework of political dialogue between Russia and Kazakhstan are considered as a continuation of relations between the two countries. Peskov's words once again confirmed the authority of the Kazakh president at the international level.
