Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia did not participate in consultations related to the development of new US proposals on settling the situation in Ukraine and currently does not expect new contacts on this issue. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

When asked whether Russia had participated in consultations on a comprehensive US plan aimed at settling the situation in Ukraine, he replied: "No, it did not participate."

Asked about the possibility of holding consultations on this topic in the future, Peskov said: "At present, we do not expect that."

He also once again emphasized Russia's position regarding the possibility of resuming negotiations after Ukraine's strikes on Russian targets during the election period.

"The President stated that after Ukraine's attempt to disrupt our elections, we will consider when to resume trilateral negotiations, and we will do this in strict accordance with our national interests," Peskov said.

Earlier, Peskov commented on the visit of Witkoff and Kushner to Moscow in October.
