There is no concrete information yet about a new meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
This was stated by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov to journalists.
"There is no concrete information yet regarding high-level meetings. The president is ready for a Russia-US meeting. Presidents Putin and Trump, in their telephone conversations, stated their readiness to hold another meeting if necessary," Peskov said.
Peskov also noted that the militarization of Ukraine continues.
"The militarization of Ukraine continues, and European countries are trying to find more funding to purchase weapons," he told journalists.
Dmitry Peskov also said that currently there are no prerequisites for starting peaceful negotiations on Ukraine, although Russia remains open to them.
