It has become known how luxury cars confiscated from Perizat Qairat were transferred free of charge to state agencies. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Chairman of the State Property and Privatization Committee Nurmakhan Adilbekov explained this practice as "one of the mechanisms to reduce budget expenditures." He said: "This measure is provided to save budget funds. It is more profitable to take confiscated property than to buy a new car. Regulatory legal acts grant such a right to state and law enforcement agencies. So why not use this opportunity?"
Earlier, a Mercedes car belonging to the notorious head of the charity fund "We are together, Kazakhstan 2030," valued at approximately 80 million tenge, was put up for sale. However, due to the lack of buyers at the auction, it was later transferred to the benefit of state agencies.
It is worth noting that blogger Perizat Qairat, known for her charitable activities during the 2024 flood, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for large-scale fraud.
