A Kazaviaspas helicopter urgently transported a teenage patient from Pavlodar to Astana. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

In the intensive care unit, where doctors fought for the teenager's life, they reported that the girl urgently needed specialized medical care at a capital clinic. Medics assessed the child's condition as serious.

"The patient was diagnosed with acute kidney injury with the development of renal failure against the background of a systemic autoimmune disease. Due to the severity of the condition, transportation by air ambulance to a republican clinic was organized for further specialized medical care," the Pavlodar Region Health Department said.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the aircraft crew promptly flew along the route Astana — Pavlodar — Astana.

"Throughout the flight, the medical team of the air ambulance constantly monitored the condition of the patient born in 2009," the ministry noted.
