The Pavlodar Region Police Department has responded to the situation surrounding a children's doctor who was fined for calling the police. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Kursiv was told that on October 6, police received a report about a child possibly being in danger. During the check, information about a mother being intoxicated and a child allegedly being outside without clothes was not confirmed.

"On this fact, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the applicant for a knowingly false call to special services. At the same time, a criminal case has been opened by the police on the fact of stalking. The circumstances and causes of the incident will be established during the investigation," the police noted.

Earlier, Kursiv wrote that a Pavlodar pediatrician said that on the instructions of her management she went to check information about small children who had been seen outside in cold weather with almost no clothes on.

According to the doctor, in one of the apartments the door was not opened to the medical workers, although children's voices and crying could be heard inside. After calling the police, a conflict arose with a man who accused the medical workers of violating his personal space.

Later, the pediatrician stated that she had received a fine of 259,500 tenge for a knowingly false call to the police. This amount exceeds her monthly salary of 258,000 tenge.

The doctor also complained that after the conflict, the man began appearing near her workplace, filming her on video and writing complaints. And on October 17, according to her, he came to her home and tried to get into the apartment.

The woman said she fears for the safety of her young daughter and intends to challenge the fine.
