A man in Pavlodar has been sentenced to life imprisonment for sexually abusing his stepdaughter over several years. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to information circulated on social media, the man first abused his stepdaughter when she was 8 years old. The criminal acts continued for three years.
The court of Pavlodar region stated: "By the court verdict, the defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment. He was also deprived of the right to hold pedagogical positions related to working with minor children for life."
The verdict has not entered into legal force.
