In Pavlodar, a suspect in the theft of about 25 million tenge from an enterprise has been detained. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The police received a report about the theft of money from one of the limited liability partnerships in Pavlodar. The damage amounted to about 25 million tenge.
As a result of operational search activities, operatives identified the suspect, who turned out to be a security guard of the enterprise. During a search at a dacha plot in one of the gardening partnerships, police found money in the amount of 24 million tenge.
The money was hidden in a pot under an apple tree.
"The suspect was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Pavlodar police department. The seized money has been attached to the criminal case materials as physical evidence," said Balgabai Kaparov, head of the Pavlodar city police department.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing. All circumstances of the incident are being established.
