In Pavlodar region, assistance will be provided to repay the loans of six people who were poisoned by gas in a sewer well. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Regional governor Asain Baikhanov visited the company "Aqtogai Milk" LLP, where the accident occurred, resulting in the deaths of six employees. The governor met with the families of the deceased, expressed condolences, and assured them of comprehensive support.
"The families of the deceased will receive comprehensive support from both the state and the employer. They will be given special financial assistance, paid wages until the end of the year, and provided with help to repay their loans," the statement said.
Additionally, the company will cover all expenses related to the care and education of minor children until they turn 18. Asain Baikhanov instructed the Department of the State Labor Inspection Committee, the Police Department, and the Prosecutor's Office to take special control of the investigation into the incident.
Recall that in the village of Zholaman, Aktogay district, Pavlodar region, six workers died from gas poisoning in a sewer well. Medical workers determined that six men born in 1963, 1975, 1983, 1998, 2006, and 2009 died at the scene. Another man born in 1988 was taken to the Aktogay district hospital.
