A one-and-a-half-year-old boy died after falling from the sixth floor of a residential building in Pavlodar. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The incident occurred on July 30 at 19:23 in a house on Toraygyrov Street. According to the regional ambulance station, the call was received at that time. The team left with the first category of urgency and arrived at the scene within two minutes.
The Pavlodar Regional Health Department reported that medics pronounced the one-and-a-half-year-old boy dead.
"The call was received at 19:23, the reason was a fall from a height in a house on Toraygyrov Street. The medical team left with the first category of urgency, travel time was 2 minutes. At the scene, medics pronounced the death of a one-and-a-half-year-old boy," the department said.
The circumstances of the tragedy are being established. An investigation is underway.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that in Astana, four children fell from windows of high-rise buildings in one day. Two of them died, and two more were hospitalized in serious condition. According to the city health department, since the beginning of the year, 60 such cases have occurred in the capital, and nine children died before the ambulance arrived.
