A Pavlodar resident has been brought to administrative responsibility after a conflict with an official from the Department of Emergency Situations during a water raid. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The case was reviewed by the Specialized Interdistrict Court for Administrative Offenses of Pavlodar. The incident occurred on the evening of June 28 at a boat station on Akademik Satpayev Street. While patrolling the water area, emergency officials noticed an overloaded boat carrying seven people, including two children. Only two passengers had life jackets.
After being ordered to stop, the boat headed to shore. There, the boat driver was asked to board a service boat and undergo a medical examination, but he refused. Additionally, the man did not present his documents or comply with the lawful demands of the emergency official.
In court, the Pavlodar resident fully admitted his guilt and repented. He explained that he refused to obey because he doubted that the man in camouflage was actually an emergency official. The court examined the case materials, explanations of participants, and a video recording of the incident. As a result, the violator's guilt was proven.
"When imposing the penalty, the court took into account the admission of guilt and repentance as mitigating circumstances. By court order, the man was found guilty of disobeying a lawful demand of a civil protection official. He was fined 90,825 tenge," the court reported.
