The Pavlodar Regional Mental Health Center has issued a statement regarding information circulating online. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Earlier, information appeared on social media that an orderly named Azamat was beating patients. In this regard, an official investigation was conducted.

According to Alexandra Bukharina, acting deputy director of the center, the orderly named Azamat does not work in men's department No. 2. The department has 45 patients.

"No complaints or grievances from patients regarding the work of employees or treatment conditions have been received," Bukharina said.

The men's department also has a 24-hour video surveillance system. Recordings from 10 cameras were fully reviewed. The information circulated online was not confirmed.

The center plans to send the investigation materials to the police to protect the honor, dignity and legitimate interests of the institution's employees. Based on this, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of persons who disseminated false information.
