A special commission has been established in the Pavlodar region following the death of six people from gas poisoning in a sewer well. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
On July 20, an accident occurred on the territory of AQTOGAI MILK LLP in the Aktogay district of Pavlodar region during maintenance of industrial equipment, resulting in the deaths of six people. Another employee is under medical supervision and receiving necessary care.
By order of the government leadership, a special commission has been created to determine the causes and circumstances of the incident. Its members include representatives of the ministries of labor and social protection, emergency situations, internal affairs, health, ecology and natural resources, agriculture, as well as the akimat of Pavlodar region.
The commission has been tasked with a comprehensive and objective study of all circumstances, identifying the causes of the accident, and developing specific measures to prevent recurrence.
The Minister of Labor and Social Protection met with the relatives of the deceased, expressed condolences, and assured that the state would provide all necessary support.
Currently, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated under Part 4 of Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The progress of the investigation is under government control.
